The national treasure "Cho-Ju-Jinbutsu-Giga" which is called the oldest comic is in 4 volumes. One of them "volume-Hei" was recognized that the Japanese paper was peeled into 2 pieces after drawn figure in surface and drawn animal in revers, then remade for a picture scroll.
Some years ago, i used the drawings by business, so i was interested in this news. In the picture scroll, there are not only frogs and rabbits but dragon, caws, hen and figure. I remember those days, and tried to copy in my way.

最古の漫画ともいわれる国宝「鳥獣人物戯画」全４巻。そのうちの一つ「丙巻」が、表に人物画、裏に動物画を描いた１枚の和紙を薄く２枚にはがし、絵巻物に仕立て直したものであることが分かったそうだ。
以前仕事で鳥獣戯画を使用させていただいたので気になったニュース。鳥獣戯画といえば蛙とウサギだけだと思っていたら大間違い。竜や牛、鶏、人間まででてくる。懐かしくて私なりに模写してみた。

Today, I went to see the "Blue Man Show" at Roppongi Theater.
From the beginning to the last, i couldn't take my eyes of them and the show.
Enjoyed so much!

今日六本木のシアターに”ブルーマンショー”を見に行った。
はじめから終わりまで、彼らとショーから目が離せなかった。
ほんとに楽しかった！

Exhibition by CHANNEL, "CULTURE CHANEL" is opening at Shanghai.

シャネルによる"CULTURE CHANEL"展が上海で開催中。

Beautiful art space "Espace Louis Vuitton TOKYO" will open on January 15th 2011 at 7th floor of Louis Vuitton Omotesando building.
The image of the space is just like making people feel like floating in the air by glassed wall.

The opening exhibition will be "Free Fall" by Xavier Veilhan.

ルイ・ヴィトン表参道ビルの７階に美しいアートスペース”エスパス　ルイ・ヴィトン東京”が2011年１月15日にオープンする。
イメージはガラス張りの壁によって、訪れた人をまるで空中に浮いているかのようにかんじさせるという。

オープニングを飾るのは、グザビエ・ヴェイヤンの”Free Fall”。

Yesterday i went to the exhibition of GOGH at The National Art Center Tokyo.
I saw some passion for art between so many crowded people.

Especially, i love  "The Bedroom", and i was looking forward to see the replica in original size.
I cleaved my way through the crowd to see it in front. It was so small room. I thought for GOGH painting in this room. I want to believe his life is not so hard as people said, but happy.

昨日国立新美術館のゴッホ展に行ってきた。
たくさんの混雑した人たちの間に芸術への情熱を垣間みた。

特に私は”アルルの寝室”が好きなので、原寸大のレプリカを見るのを楽しみにしていた。
人ごみをかき分けて正面で見た。とても小さな部屋だった。ゴッホがこの部屋で絵を描いている姿を想った。彼の人生が云われているほど辛いものではなく、幸せだったと信じたい。

Famous as Dior illustration, Rene Gruau's exhibition "Rene Gruau and the Line of Beauty" is held at Somerset House in London.  I'm always inspired by these great fashion illustrator. Especially i love his beautiful lines. I draw some ladies as elegance as he did. 

Diorのイラストでも有名な、ルネ・グリュオーの展覧会"Rene Gruau and the Line of Beauty"がロンドンのサマセットハウスで開かれている。私はいつも彼らのようなファッションイラストレーターに奮起させられている。特にグリュオーの線が好きだ。彼のようにエレガントな女性を描いてみた。

A week pasts so fast! it is already Wednesday!! I recollect about last week, that reminds me i saw Dufy at gallery Tamenaga in Ginza.
It was nice to meet Dufy for me, because i like his way to paint. I like kind of speedy and light touch painting. And the color is good.



１週間があっという間だった！もう水曜日！！先週のことを思い返すと、デュフィ展を銀座のギャラリーためながに見に行ったのを思い出した。
デュフィに出会えてよかった、というのも私はスピーディでさらっと描かれた絵が好きだからだ。色もきれいだった。
