Jean Paul Gaultier's new concept shop opened in Ginza. For the opening event, the Mr. Gaultier himself came Japan and showed up in a space suit which is from the concept of the floor "Space". Navy blue stripe is fresh.

It is little bit late, but I re-checked the 2010 f/w Haute Couture of Christian Dior today. Recently, it is so cold in Tokyo, but I feel something like spring whenI saw the beautiful color combination and the airy texture.

ちょっと遅いけど、今年の秋冬のディオールのオートクチュールを見直してみた。最近東京は寒いけど、その美しい色合いと軽やかな生地を見ると春を感じた。

Yesterday, I wrote about the launch issue of VOGUE NIPPON, but i would like to write about last issue of Harpers' BAZAAR Japan. 
I was so surprised the comment in the web site, because I was looking forward to buy the January issue of BAZAAR. Every month i am puzzled which to choose VOGUE or BAZAAR to buy. BAZZAR had interesting articles to read. So, often BAZZAR won. I'm so sorry to see the great fashion magazine culture will fade out.  A magazine has his culture, i believe. I first time to know the original font for only BAZAAR "HTF Didot".  I think BAZZAR has much more love( or obsession) of their culture.

One of the article of the last issue is just like BAZAAR, "Party All the Time". It was luxury and fashionable.
I like the Kate Moss party fashion the best. 
Lastly, i hope BAZAAR will be  revived in Japan.


昨日はVOGUEの創刊号について書いたが、今日はバザーの休刊について書きたいと思う。
１月号を楽しみにしていたので、バザーのサイトでコメントを読んだときはびっくりした。
毎月どっちを買うか迷っていた。バザーは記事の内容が面白いので、バザーが勝利することも多かった。雑誌はそれぞれの文化を持っていると思うので、それが消えてしまうのを見るのはほんとに残念でならない。今回初めてバザーの誌面にしか使えない"HTF Didot"というフォントがあるのを知った。ほかにも多くのこだわりがあったに違いない。

最後の記事のひとつにバザーらしい"Party All the Time"というのがあった。豪華でファッショナブル。私はケイトモスのパーティーファションが気に入った。
最後に、復刊を切に願ってやまない。
